The portrait process begins with a discussion between the client and the artist to determine client expectations, the general style and mood of the portrait, clothing choices, finished size, where the finished portrait will be displayed and final price.A photography session lasting about 1 hour will be conducted to create the reference photographs.
Kim will review the photographs and select several for reference. She will then confer with the client at a final planning meeting and together they will determine final composition and mood of the finished portrait.
Kim will complete the painitng based on information gathered during the planning stages.
Final painting will be presented fully framed and ready to display.
